Who we are

We are Lucky Kat, an award-winning mobile game studio with a mission to entertain the world by building gameplay-first experiences in the metaverse. Our games have over 200 million downloads on the App Stores. We are a part of Fragbite Group, a global group
active in gaming, E-Sports and Web3. We are based in The Hague and we are a team of around 20 members.

Our mission is to create seamless gaming experiences with web3 elements like digital ownership and tokenization to onboard the next billion users on mobile.

About the role

As a Finance Manager you will hold a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial strategy and in building and optimizing finance operations, collaborating closely with senior management, and reporting directly to the CEO and Group Finance. This is an independent position, and we are seeking a candidate with hands-on experience in managing comprehensive finance tasks within a small Dutch company, who is fully versed in Dutch tax legislation and speaks fluent Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit the monthly and yearly financial reporting pack and management accounts for the Dutch and Gibraltarian entities.

• Responsible for bookkeeping.

• Manage payments, accounts receivable and accounts payable.

• Manage liquidity, including cash flow forecasts.

• Conduct budget and forecast processes.

• Coordinate with Group, review and reconciliation of intercompany transactions.

• Review monthly payroll and social security calculations.

• Ensure full local taxation compliance.

• Manage annual audits for the Dutch and Gibraltarian entities.

• Manage external relationships, such as banks, external accountants, auditors.

• Collaborate with Group Accounting Team on various finance projects.

Requirements - Must have

• Relevant experience in managing all finance tasks
• Dutch tax legislation and statutory reporting knowledge.
• Knowledge of IFRS is desirable, but not a requirement.
• Service minded, flexible and responsive work style; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and fluent in English and Dutch
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to details.
• Able to work closely in a diverse team, but also independently, able to liaise effectively with stakeholders within the organization.
• Relevant accounting experience from web3 and/or crypto is highly desirable, but not a requirement
