Who we are
We are Lucky Kat, an award-winning mobile game studio with a mission to entertain the world by building gameplay-first experiences in the metaverse. Our hyper casual Web2 games have over 250+ million downloads on the App Stores, and our first sold-out Web3 game Panzerdogs has over 1 million downloads. We are growing our Web3 games portfolio with Panzerdogs, Cosmocadia, and the anticipated launch of our utility token $KOBAN, which will power an ecosystem of games on Sui.

About the role
Are you driven by Web3, NFTs, and the future of gaming? We are searching for an intern who understands Web3 culture, memes, community needs, and is eager to expand their skills in marketing. As the voice of our community, you will create quality content for our social media channels, staying on top of Web3 trends, and implementing strategies to grow and engage our communities on platforms like X and Discord. As the main point of contact on Discord, you'll organise events and campaigns that keep the community active, and help prepare for the launch of our token $KOBAN. If you're self-initiative and a proactive team player ready to make an impact in the Web3 universe, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Create and execute community growth strategies and utilising analytics to make data-informed decisions on when and how to iterate.
- Set clear goals for how you want to grow social channels on a quarterly basis through community driven campaigns.
- Assist the marketing team with content planning and content creation.
- Moderate and engage Web3 gaming communities on Discord.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Product teams to plan campaigns and updates that drive high engagement with the community.
- Develop a deep understanding of community’s needs and apply solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on the blockchain gaming ecosystem and the efficacy of different growth strategies employed by different blockchain gaming studios.
- Create copy and visuals to promote new material, campaigns, and other social initiatives.
Requirements - Must have
- Understanding of Web3 culture e.g. terminology, memes, ‘intern’ role.
- Proactive in responding to community questions on all channels.
- Must be passionate about Web3 and the interaction of blockchain and gaming.
- Open to learn, adapt, and grow in a Web3 gaming environment.
- Deep understanding of the variety of growth strategies employed by free-to-play gaming companies, Web3 companies, and blockchain gaming companies.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; fluent in English.
- Affinity with Discord, Telegram & X.
Nice to have
- Experience in visual editing programmes e.g. Photoshop, GIMP.
- Experience in Community Management or a Marketing Role within Web3.
- Experience working in gaming or crypto growth marketing.
- Experience working with gaming or crypto influencers.
